1. Mega MAPLE SALE this week

It’s time to stock up on maple for the winter! This week only 20% off all of our super local syrup, made by our neighbors only two miles away on Cram Hill Rd in Lyndeborough, the Pfeil Family Maple Farm.

2. Jalapeño Cheddar bread this week!

This week Tyler will be baking his Jalapeño Cheddar Sourdough as well as his Rustic variety. Bread will be available both Wednesday and Saturday.

3. Hoodies have arrived!

Our ODF hoodies have arrived! They are a cozy heather dark grey with the round farm logo on the back and the farm name printed on the left chest. Get yours today! Looking for a zip up or a size we are out of? Send us an email and we will add it to our re-order .

4. New local goods!

You’ve got to love small towns! One of our CSA member friends, Scott Blanchard, approached us about selling his hand crafted cutting/charcuterie boards, and wood care products. We are excited to be carrying these items from Blanchard Creative Woodworking, both online and at the farm.

5. End of season schedule reminder:

This is the last “regular” week of pickups
We will ALSO be doing a Thanksgiving pickup the Sunday and Wednesday prior to Thanksgiving - more details coming soon!
There will be bread and baked goods available for the Thanksgiving pickup - watch your email for details!

6. 2024 CSA sign up! Spaces are limited

Highlights:

Price is the same as 2023
Extended pickup hours for 2024 - we will be open until 7pm on Wednesdays!
You can choose Saturday pickup (10am-1pm), Wednesday pickup (4pm-7pm) , or “I’ll pick later” for those who don’t know their 2024 schedule yet.

THOUGHTS FROM THE FIELD:

Surprise! Another rooster. Bootsy, in front, just learned how to crow. So now we have three, two of them very tiny.

Here’s our neighbor, Matt, working on opening up our third field. We are getting excited thinking about what’s in store for next year.

Here’s Tyler saying hello to our friendly neighbors, the cows (the people neighbors are nice too). The cows like to check up on our work., and make sure the chickens are being locked up at night. Everyone needs a supervisor.

The frosty deep fall approaches and we reflect on the season almost past and chomp at the bit to plan our next season! Thanks for being part of our journey! See you for this last summer week at the farm.
